This workshop will be conducted  in Bucharest, Romania, prior to the EnviroGRIDS plenary.

“Bringing GEOSS services into practice” aims at teaching participants how to install, configure and deploy a set of open source software to publish and share data and metadata through the Global Earth Observation System of Systems (GEOSS) using OGC web services & ISO standards.  This workshop is open to technical experts and Black Sea institutions that could benefit from an implementation of GEOSS.

  • We can offer a grant of 500 Euros maximum (limited to 10 applicants). To apply for a grant , please send a short CV and motivation. Forms and instructions can be obtained at www.envirogrids.net or by selecting the Grant-application-form-enviroGRIDS; please note that the applications are due by April 12th.
